Be Cautious With Stupid Comparisons.

Seriously though.

There is this saying: you can't compare apples to oranges.

I never understood that.

Of course, you can compare apples to oranges.

Both are fruits. Apples and oranges are sweet, sour, or something in between, similar in size, weight, and shape, and both are grown in orchards and may be eaten, juiced, and so on.

As you can see, you can compare apples to oranges.

You also can compare cars to airplanes. Mice to dice and a chair to hair.

You can compare whatever you want just for the sake of comparison.

What you have to ask yourself is always:

"Why do I compare?"

"What is the goal of this comparison?"

Let's go back to Apples and Oranges. I already mentioned the similarities.

If you aim to find out which of those two contains more Vitamin C, you'll find out that an 🍊 is the winner.

If you want to find out which is easier to eat on the go without making a lot of mess, the 🍎 may be your choice.

However, you should be cautious with comparisons.

They can hurt you.

Especially the dumb ones like this:

Don’t compare your beginning to somebody else’s middle.

Compare yourself to somebody else if you want to improve.
Keep a positive mindset.
Then, a comparison is good.
It can help you to assess where you are and define your direction.

Take care of yourselves and see you next week,
Peace!
